About Mustard Marketing


Like all great companies, the concept of Mustard emerged from a chat about client problems.

Clients with excellent business potential were struggling to reach their target markets with their message. 

 


The current approaches were just too fragmented, there needed to be another way.

Over a number of lunches a group of us from Marketing, Advertising, Business Development, Legal, and Capital Raising backgrounds sat around discussing alternatives.

Each of us with decades of experience in our own areas highlighted the client problems as we saw them.  Finally the idea of mustard emerged, we recognised that clients need to be able to:

  • Develop new markets and new revenue streams;
  • Reach those markets whether local or international more cost effectively;
  • Integrate and blend traditional, social, digital and mobile advertising channels;
  • Protect themselves and their intellectual property;
  • Raise the capital or funding to support business growth; and
  • Have the business structures in place to support fund raising and realise their value on exit.

Clients needed to have a single partner that can help them achieve their potential!

So whilst we were eating, Lee said ” this sandwich has got all the bits, but its missing something – can you pass the mustard “

and with that we realised that what our clients needed was a little mustard to bring their business to life!

 

So who is Mustard Marketing?

Lee

Over 20 years experience as one of Australia’s top creative designers. Formerly holding Creative Director positions with a number of Australia’s leading advertising agency’s, Lee has come to enjoy the tight knit network of Mustard Marketing and the creative freedom our solutions provide.

Maintaining a wonderful grasp of visual branding and advertising in traditional media, she has recently turned her focus to the integration of traditional media and digital media visual branding. Formally qualified as a graphic designer, Lee has also been a guest lecturer in graphic design for a number of educational institutions.

Cam

Twenty plus years of experience in Business Development marketing in Australia, Asia, UK and the USA. During this time he has held various Senior Executive and General Manager positions in public and private companies. In recent years Cam has focused his attention on Social Media, specifically on its applications related to marketing and business development.

Cam holds a masters award, two post graduates and a first degree, in addition to a number of business and academic awards.  He has been a key note speaker or guest lecturer at numerous business functions and five universities.

Bill

With over 30 years of experience in the fields of law, finance and sales, Bill has worked in senior positions with major corporations in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Whilst legally qualified and admitted as a Barrister he finds consulting to be his passion. Over the years he has established Registered Training Organizations, Australian Financial Services Licenses, Mortgage Companies and Investment Real Estate Corporations on all levels. He enjoys the cut and thrust of the business world and specializes in the legal aspects surrounding start-ups, business compliance and sales.

Catherine

Raised in Shanghai and degree educated in Marketing in China.  Catherine subsequently moved to Australia to complete Post Graduate and Masters studies in Marketing.  Catherine has a strong grasp of the approach Australian companies should be taking in their Chinese marketing.

Kirsty

Former senior executive of a private export manufacturing company.  Experienced in international business development and channel management.  In recent years, Kirsty has begun to specialise in client engagement through Social Media.  Her detailed focus on account management and project delivery management has enabled us to develop increasingly better processes and procedures for client and project management delivery.

Brad

Brad graduated university with a Business degree specializing in Marketing and started his professional career as a marketing consultant. After working in a variety of industries that included travel and investment real estate, he turned his attention to search engine marketing. Now with over 5 years experience planning and managing Google AdWords and search engine optimisation strategies, he has successfully helped a range of businesses from small family operations and politicians to international tourism organisations.

Gary

Gary looks after our video and animation (2D and 3D) production.  Gary’s experience is incredible from filming news, interviews with politicians, celebrities, aerial shoots, documentaries, TV commercials, live broadcasts and cooking shows to major sporting events and independent films.  This expertise is now translated in to incredible video, whether on site or in the studio.  Video that can broadcast on TV, OnLine or even on your phone.

Marlene

20 years experience in media sales, strategy and brand development makes Marlene one of the most knowledgeable people in the field.  Why media buying – well it can save you a lot of money and give you a higher return on your broadcast media.
